Hello - is there a way to search by CAS number in version 3?

I find reference to being able to search by CAS number using 'advanced search' in version 2, but I don't see that ability in version 3.

I am using ecoinvent in openLCA and do not see a way to search by CAS number in openLCA either.

A solution for either tool would be welcome.

you can search for corresponding datasets from CAS numbers in the correspondence files, which you can download at this link. Thank you for pointing this out and we will include the CAS numbers in the activity overview files in the future.

I am trying to link the EI3 datasets to their CAS numbers. I am face the same issue as RandyB pointed out. Although, Lucia provided the answer but in "Correspondence Files from ecoinvent 2.2 to 3.0", there are no CAS numbers mentioned for "Intermediate Exchanges". Is there a way to get CAS numbers corresponding to the product datasets?

Dear Mehboob, 

because of user's interest, we have now included the CAS numbers in the Activity overview for v3.3, which you can download from the documents and files section of the website. In the file you can find the CAS number for both elementary and intermediate exchanges in the respective tabs. ecoinvent version 3.4 will also include an update on chemicals, including CAS numbers, formulas and synonyms.

 Are the CAS numbers still in the activity overview of the current ecoinvent? I cannot find it

When you download the Activity Overview, you can find the CAS numbers in the tabs “ElementaryExchanges” (column F) and “Intermediate Exchanges” (column D).

i noticed that the CAS numbers listed for

• barium sulfide
• metaldehyde
• sodium

are wrong
