I would like to understand why the electricity consumption isn't impacting in spite of the 83.5kWk (value entered as inventory) consumed during the overall production process

Dear James,
I am not familiar with OpenLCA. From your screenshot I assume you are creating your own process in OpenLCA. Electricity consumption is not a dataset from ecoinvent, I presume this is something you created.
It seems like there might be an issue in how you built the inventory, for guidance please refer to their support.

It depends what it is that you need. For example, you can use the market for electricity datasets (available for high, medium and low voltage) is you need the grid mix. You can select the market(s) for the country(ies) relevant for your study. You can also select specific technologies, e.g. electricity from coal or wind, if you need to model a specific mix.
