We want to calculate scope 2 & 3 emissions seperately for a company which is not an electricity provider with the data available in Ecoinvent.
For our calculation we assume the following equations:
EF scope 2= Energy production mix + Sum of all imports
EF scope 3= Energy market mix - EF scope 2
Can you support this assumption?

I am also working on separating scope 2 and 3 emissions of the electricity mix! How did you do it in the end? I still do not know how to separate the scopes from the emission facor "market for electricity grid mix" of a specific country! Which emission factors should I use ?

Thank you for your question. At the moment, ecoinvent does not separate scope 2 and 3 emissions for fuel and energy related activities according to the GHG protocol.
