Is there a possibility to establish a LCA for my topic? In ecoinvent 3.7 there are only datasets for passenger cars, like "glider production, passenger car" and "passenger car production, electric, without battery". 

I need such datasets but for trucks and not for cars. Ecoinvent 3.7 seems not to include such data. Do you think it's possible to use the passenger cars datasets also for truck purposes? 

My problem here is, that for example the dataset "passenger car production eletric" says: This dataset describes the production of an electric passenger car without its battery. The entries are based on a per kg basis. The model is optimized for a vehicle of about 1200kg including the battery.

Of course a truck weighs more than 1200kg. But can I just calcute this dataset with 18t for a truck instead of 1200kg for a car? What do you think?

I am also interested in this question. In my case, however, I have to scale in the other direction because I am assessing a light electric vehicle. :)

The correct approach in this case would be to create your own foreground process, perhaps similar to the car process (perhaps by creating a duplicate of the car process) but modified to reflect correct conditions for the truck. You could link to the same activities as the car process links to, but in different amounts depending on what your research suggests is the right amount.

The best way to do this varies depending on your LCA software.
