US AgriData
We are proud to announce our partnership with EarthShift Global, and the official start of US AgriData project. The project goal are pilot datasets with regional differentiation for maize (grain corn), soybean, potato, and sweet corn in the US. This project will increase the coverage of US agricultural production in the ecoinvent database and lay the foundation for further expansion.

ecoinvent 3.7.1

In December 2020, the ecoinvent association released version 3.7.1 of the ecoinvent database, as an update to ecoinvent 3.7 (September 2020). The latest update to the ecoinvent database included new and updated data in metals, fertilisers, forestry and wood, packaging materials, waste/recycling, and biogas supply chains. The electricity market mixes were also updated. ecoinvent 3.7.1 corrected the iron sinter production dataset, which included an error in ecoinvent 3.7. Further, ecoinvent 3.7.1 updated the zinc mining dataset with newer information from the International Zinc Association.

Watch our recorded webinar for more information about the contents of ecoinvent 3.7.1.
