Our deputy director, Emilia Moreno Ruiz, will present the Sustainable Recycling Industries (SRI) programme and its outcomes for Latin America.
In addition, one of our project managers, Carl Vadenbo, will participate in the special session hosted by UN Environment, ‘Building LCA National Databases to enhance Resource Efficiency’. Together with our project partners from Brazil and Ecuador, they will share insights into the development of roadmaps for national LCA databases in six selected countries under the REAL project.
As part of the pre-conference programme, we will be hosting a user meeting for discussion, questions and remarks on the ecoinvent database and its recent and upcoming developments.
The user meeting takes place on Monday 15 July, from 8:30 to 12:00.

Poznań, Poland, 1–4 September
Our director, Gregor Wernet, and deputy director, Emilia Moreno Ruiz, will expand on the results of the SRI programme, discussing ecoinvent’s role in supporting large-scale LCI data collection efforts in emerging economies and in improving regional coverage of agriculture data, respectively.
Just before the kick-off to the conference, an ecoinvent user meeting will be held to feedback to the users and to provide a platform for direct interaction. During the meeting, participants will be further introduced to the enhanced content of the upcoming database version 3.6.
The user meeting takes place on Sunday 1 September, from 13:00 to 17:00.

Tuscon, Arizona (US), 24–26 September
Following the completion of the SRI programme, our director, Gregor Wernet, will present new data created and reflect on lessons learnt from supporting activities towards data and database creation in the regions covered.
During the conference, we will host a user meeting to expand on recent developments in the database and offer users the space for questions and general discussion.
The meeting will take place during the conference dates.
