Thomas Sonderegger

As Project Manager, Thomas leads ecoinvent’s participation in the ORIENTING project. He further helps to develop and improve the database. In particular, he works on the mining and the agricultural sector as well as on the implementation of life cycle impact assessment methods in the database.

Thomas studied environmental engineering at ETH Zurich and continued with a PhD and a PostDoc in the ESD group. In his thesis he focused on life cycle impact assessment of natural resources. In this context, he was also co-leading the “task force mineral resources” in the GLAM project of the Life Cycle Initiative.
