The Ocelot project, launched in March 2016, has now reached its first milestone. After the relentless efforts of Christopher Mutel, a beta version of a framework to test linking algorithms is now up and running. For now, the framework can read ecoinvent datasets in ecoSpold2 format and store them in the internal dataset format.
The next step of the project is to write the linking functions, a task that has already begun a few weeks ago. It can also accept functions written in Python, representing steps of a linking algorithm, log the modifications and create a user-friendly interface to monitor the result of the modifications.
