A product's life cycle from cradle to grave
ecoinvent was present at the public session on the "State of the Art Solutions – Research and Market Applications". Academia and start-ups shared their knowledge and proposals to support Switzerland and Brazil in moving towards more sustainable sources of energy.
Together with Quantis, ecoinvent introduced the life cycle thinking approach to the public using the example of electric cars. See the whole posters (life cycle thinking and today's and tomorrow's energy) to find out how green electric cars depend on the country's electricity mix.

The House of Switzerland Brazil 2016 supported the 2.000 Watt society initiative, proposed by ETH Zurich researchers to make consumers more conscious about their energy consumption and the way foward for their city and country.
