Several LCI data collection projects were kicked-off in 2016, targeting sectors such as coal mine operations, electricity generation and distribution, agriculture and animal husbandry, construction, textile, waste treatment and disposal, refinery industry and more.
Through the SRI project and collaboration with international and local experts from the regions, ecoinvent is expanding its geographical scope to include more representative, regional, and up-to-date data from regions outside of Europe. In 2017, SRI will continue to implement even more training and data collection projects.
